Flatworms are pretty easy to check for. Take a suspected piece and blast it with a powerhead or turkey baster. Really focus on the deep crevices. You'll see little flat worms go flying off. They are extremely hard to spot just looking at a coral.

I've found flatworms on corals out of gorgeous colorful tanks when I got home and dipped. If you friend dips, that could also be pointing at a pest. Hopefully not, AEFW are a pain in the ass to deal with. I've been there.

That's not to say it's your issue, but with flatworms I think a filter sock could actually keep them from going tank to tank. It could also be a six line making the difference.

I would think if it was bacterial then it would more than likely be affecting both tanks but I'm not 100% sure on that.

Yeah its strange tank went through a micro crash and I lost just some tenuis while others pulled through. Kinda feels like it could be bacterial also but not sure how to remedy that. Im going to try and send of a test this week to atleast see if there is something in my water thats throwing things off. I have blown stuff off and never saw any flatworms nor do I see anything that looks like flatworm bites. I have also fragged pieces off my colony that were not happy and placed in frag tank to fully recover and color up. Which then confuses me again maybe its not the water haha. My head hurts now even more.

Sounds like you're on the right track with the ICP. See if anything is off there. If not and there are no pests then you might be looking at something bacterial? There are threads on R2R about both witch hazel treatments and cipro treatments if you end up suspecting that as a cause.

Swapping the tank and having it recover is pretty weird! Hope you figure it out.

Here is a link to witch hazel break down by Andre Mueller of reef moonshiner's program
https://www.reefmoonshiners.com/witchhazel-reeftank-treatment

Trace element breakdown might help you determine if anything is off (not just contaminated) on the trace element level. It also has some troubleshooting techniques in there. It's his free online handbook. You have to check out and you'll get an email link to it. No spam.

Possible in sharing numbers? Any new additions to the system? Any changes in husbandry? I would start with basics & begin deducing sources that could be causing problems. Might seem ridiculous but sometimes & pretty often is something like extremely low nutrients, PH or Alk swing, sudden spike in mag, pump on a reactor clogged, supplements or salt mix change, etc. it could be a very subtle change. Hopefully you can pinpoint the problem before things get worse. Good luck
