first ignore the comment before..............you just need buckets so you can transfer you rocks, water and coral. Try to save at least 50% of your old water. make sure your temperature is about the same so corals and fish dont go in shock.

not sure why you are switching, but if you must, do as BADFISH said, using all tank water to hold them, that puts a lot less stress on your critters. I would first remove the LR, then fish, then sand and CUC using 3 different buckets/tubs, 1 for LR, 1 for fish, 1 for sand/CUC. HTH

get several rubbermaid containers... we used some 42 or 45 gallon tubs to transport rocks, sand and corals when we moved my buddies tank...


oh and you posted this thread in the wrong forum...
