There is no possible way I can get all my outlets correct. So I’ll just post a screen shot of my apex module lest

I started this to go with JRices thread about backup power supply. I don’t worry about power outages. Don’t have solar either. But of all that equipment how to do pick and choose of you do worry? Or do you have a big enough generator to handle the load?

Depends on the time of day/night I guess but just day time planned outage my main concern would be my return. Form there I'd pick and choose heaters/wavemakers that would keep me around 50% of the rated load.

Our business runs 7000w commercial onan generators in mobile vans (shared fuel tank) so I'd plug in and run everything as normal minus the t5s. If those are all in use I'm firing up my Toyhauler and just running my m2 and heaters (if at night) on that POS generac.

14, and I remember a day long ago complaining about having to plug in 4-5 things. I have not done it yet but plan to build battery back-up for the return and heater and possibly the Nero. My goal would be to keep mission critical pieces online for a 6-8 hr period in case of a power outage. Anything longer than that and a genny would come into play.

Lights x 3
Return Pump x 1
Skimmer x 1
ATO x 1
Fuge light X1
Nero 5 x 1
Inkbird x 1 (handles heating and cooling)
Dosing Pump x 1
Sump pump x 1
GHL x 2
LED strips for stand x 1
