How to get zoas to grow like this

different types of zoas will have different growth patterns. Some grow really tight together like that, others don't. I would think keeping them in bright light would help, since they wouldn't be straining for more light, and keeping the colony level would also help, so new polyps aren't growing uphill in a sliding-away fashion. Really though, there's prob not much you can do in this department.
