Hello everyone,

I am having trouble mounting my new AI Hydra26 onto my biocube. The hood is removed and I have the HMS mount. I used cork to fill the gap between the clamps and the tank and that has worked OK to mount it. But every few days the light and mount start to lean in toward the water, and I have to re-tighten the clamps. Eventually, I think I will remove the rim, but I am going on my honeymoon for 2 weeks and then moving when we get back. So I don't have time to remove the rim right now. Any ideas for how to more securely mount the light?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
-Sean

For anyone else who has ever had to deal with this issue, I used a small wooden dowel from Home Depot instead of cork. We'll see how the wood holds up. But so far it is sturdier (less compression) than the cork, and the light/mount is not leaning anymore.
