I got Hawaiian Paly juice in my eye am I gonna be a real pirate now!?

I was cutting a paly of a bubble algae ridden plug and boom, paly juice in the eye. Flushed my eye with water first and some visine. I gotta super sweet twitch going.

Am I gonna die? Jk but anyone get paly juices in the eye ball before? If there's already a thread. I don't care my eye is getting twitchy

I think if you can still post your good, get an eye patch just incase

I ideally will wear goggles but a few weeks ago I cut up a bunch and used no eye protection. I was using a gryphon bandsaw that can spit a lot if filled to high. I got some in my eye and mouth. I didn't die. But your immune system is weaker than mine from the HIV so anything is possible I guess. Just make sure you give your wife a sheet on palytoxin poisoning in case you go blind and dumb she can give it to the the dr. And they will know what's up. At least that's what I do lol

Jason (TRFS) said he's gotten it in the eyes. No biggie but some palys are way more toxic than others so wear eye protection when messing with Z's and P's to be safe.

Several times have gotten play juice in the eye. Takes awhile for the burn to go away. I've tried applying potatoe slices to suck up the toxin, starches sometimes help but after 24 hrs or less you'll be back to normal

When I started the thread I said someone will be like, go to the ER or its no biggie. Glad I came, some damage to the epithelial, meh I'm getting a pat h and a hook. I'm a DP for life arrrrrrrrrrrr
