if you have a QT tank i would take them out sooner the better they will get more stressed especially if they have ICH. At least you fight it now instead of later which you may loose fish either way. It all depends on how far they are along with ICH. But you limit the chances of them getting worse using Copper Power. Not to mention ICH is prob in your sand and will only get worse for your fish if you dont act soon.

I would put them in a QT Tank asap

They'll absorb some of the copper. I think that's why my copper treatment failed this last time. I ended up using chloroquine phosphate and it worked perfectly. A little more room for error than copper. Just a shame wrasse, anthias and hippo tangs don't do well with it

I do the same as Smite. Sponge filter is a must cheap but worth every penny especially for a QT tank.

Thats a tough one to answer because filter socks can be good and bad. Socks can have excess nutrients especially if already used and can potentially be more of a hazard to your fish. I have read that socks can also be traps for ich as it goes into your water column and sand. The last thing you want is Ich to travel to your QT when your trying to get rid of it. If your QT hasn't really been set up you may hit a Ammonia spike which can also kill your fish as your QT tank tries to cycle adding more nutrients from your used sock and the potential to add ich from your sock that can still kill your fish. It also may swing your QT all out of wack Nitrates etc and you will need to monitor closely of the water chemistry. Personally, i would keep your QT tank as simple as possible try not to add anything from your main tank rocks/sand/media etc. If you have a HOB Filter that should be good until your able to get one of those Sponge Filters and hook it up to a Air Pump. It will take a few days for the Sponge to make beneficial Bacteria but it would be better than adding a already used sock from your main again with the potential of adding Ich to your QT. If you plan on using Cooper Power. Do the recommend dosage then after about 3-4 days Testing the water daily especially for Ammonia and do frequent water changes.

Dr.Tims or Fritz turbo beneficial bacteria would help. Soak the sponge filter or hob filter sponge in either over night. Buy an oversized bottle so you can add it with the first couple water changes if you detect ammonia. They are a little pricey but the really do work.

i actually live in Orange Near the Orange Hill Restaurant if your familiar with that. East Chapman. I was thinking of touching base with you anyways to buy some of your Zoas since my new tank has no corals at all at the moment. I am just finishing up my Cycle so i should be good to go to start adding coral..

I want to help because i been there with the ICH and its no joke especially when you invest so much money into your Fish. Even something as simple as a Chromie still deserve a chance.

Again, I wouldn't use anything from your main tank in your QT / Hospital Tank... Keep it as simple as possible with no chance to spread ICH
