So over a year ago I created these bounce mushrooms when I left a baby mushroom in high lighting and high flow. The mother never had any yellow bubbles before. I know some importers have been getting a few of these recently, and was wondering if they have an actual name.

Looks like regular hairy mushroom to me. Just saying

This is the mother with the rhodactis below it for reference. Cali kid corals has sold a couple exactly like mine, but not sure if he named his either. A couple other places have been selling similar ones for the $200 range. So its not just a hairy mushroom

Dang it...should have kept the rocks I had full of them instead of letting them dry. Would have been worth a gazillion.

I guess i got lucky when some developed bubbles. The normal ones arent worth all that much. Crazy how something so common can change slightly and be worth so much more

Anyone can rename a mushroom. Its all about the marketing. Mushrooms are still popular, but I think many of the high priced ones are coming down. You may get some takers.

Not planning on selling them, but when i did sell one for $45 last year it kinda was a smack in the face when i saw one being sold for over $200. The seller makes the coral quality, not the coral itself i guess
