yep... those LPS are totally going to dead him pretty good... you'll notice the poor fish twitching to get the tentacles out of it's flesh... and especially those acans... those are very deadly for the horse...

it's easier to get rid of the LPS... there are other nice corals that are horse safe... keep the horsey... they're worth housing by themselves...

After much research and heart wrenching choices I have decided to keep my seahorse

According to this website: http://www.seahorse.org/library/articles/tankmates/tankmates.shtml

Seahorse only tanks are not mandatory and with current knowledge growing people are including them in their reef tanks.

Any coral level 2 or under is not considered a dangerous threat. The only nasty corals I had were the hammerheads, frogspawn, and torch corals all level 4. Interestingly enough, Acans were only a level 1 and considered safe...that must be why my seahorse loves hanging out in the rainbow acans :) Goodbye moving corals

Well I will keep everyone posted on how the horsey is doing. I will miss my 27 head purple tipped frogspawn... ::sniffle::

I will post a pic of Sea Biscuit eating some mysis later

Thanks everyone for the advice and helping save his little life.

i have seen horses get killed by dendro, acan echinata, and some platygyra... on the site the platy is a 1... LOL... those things have like 10" sweepers and are very aggressive... maybe it was just bad luck for the horsey...??? i dunno...

i remember the dendro just grabbed him by the face... it was messed up...

OMG...so Sea Biscuit was hanging out in the Acans again and sure enough they grabbed his lil horsey arse and he had to struggle to pull free. I don't think he will be chillin' in the acans anymore...at least I hope not

Level 1 my butt
