anybody got suggestions for pumps? I was gonna get jebaos version of mp60, theyre about $400
While Jebao pumps work, and are initially impressive, in my experience, they just dont last. For $400 I personally would pick something else.
I recently got some IceCap Gyre pumps and they move a TON of water. I use them long side of my 8' 240. Got them on the CoralVue outlet for like $250

Got everything leveled now it’s just to lift the tank up, this stand is huge so it seems like it’s gonna be a pain to get it up

Yeah, you're gonna need a lot of hands, those tanks are heavy AF. With the leveling feet added to the IM stands, they're pretty tall, so buy some pizza and beer, and have some friends come over to help. Looks good!

I'm a huge Tunze fan, but I guess it depends on budget and type of pump you like? For MP style pumps, I would definitely go with the Jebaos, but I'm not a fan of pumps only going in one direction and that have a narrow flow output. Gyre style pumps are good, but require a lot of maintenance keeping them clean (best practice is buying extra sets of cages and impellers). Octo Pulse 4's are pretty good and you can angle them slightly to aim them around, which is nice. I have a pair that I used with my Wave Engine and they moved a lot of water around, which I really liked on my temp tank. A pair of Tunze 6105's w/Orcas with some pumps in the middle would work nicely.
What are plans for corals, mixed, sps?

Well for the jebaos, they do have 3d printed guard/ flow changer, used it on my current tank so that its not just a jet stream, I was planning to add 2 mp 60 style ones for now and spare ice cap4k i have. I wanted to avoid cables since the tank is euro braced around the rim.

Tunze Orcas.

maybe in the future but its not aesthetically pleasing but yeah eventually down the line might add it.

I have always used them without issue, Im just going for the wireless form factor.

I will look into the wave makers, dont need a return pump, it came with one.

Looks good when I set my IM 150 EXT I got Pond liner and placed it under the stand as well as inside the stand in case of any water spillage. Thought I would just throw that out there before the tank went on the stand.

Didn't realize it was a pennisula. Getting the flow right is important.

For the price, that's probably the best bang for the buck.

NGL this plumbing is giving me a headache, it intertwines all weird and there is no guide for it, they send out a generic guide that doesnt even have the same layout
