Issues Login In via Email authentication

Hi all,

I've gotten several reports that existing users are having issues with authenticating with the email code (not receiving email) and unable to login.

So I know that's happening, and I've reached out to @EyeReef for getting this looked into and resolved.

Not sure if this helps your troubleshooting. For me the issue is only with gmail. The authentication emails went through just fine with my yahoo email, and my work email.

Thank you for that info. It is definitely helpful because another user was also using gmail, and do not receive their email from the forum.

It's not in the spam box. That's the first thing I tell everyone, and it's definitely something to do with the gmail. Might be something to do with the cert or somehow the forum got flagged. I asked Mike to look into it, but have not heard if he found anything yet.

Thank you for the help. I'm on borrowed time. I don't remember my forum password, and I can't receive the reset email. Once I get logged off on my desktop, I will remain logged off until I reset the password. I'm trying to remember the password. UGH.

I know I was also not getting the authentication emails for the past few weeks. Luckily, I was stilled logged in on my PC, so I was able to post. But I'm assuming it was affecting others as well where they could log in. Hopefully, that has been fixed and members could log in again.
