OK, I saw the monster bristle worm in my tank again.... it ia about 4 feet long and i ran itback into its hiding place.... i found the lair of the demon.

I need help to get at it. I am gonna build a trap tonight, and set it. if it fails. I need to break down the reef to get at it, this is where the help conmes in!

anyone in the ventura county/ north LA county, or south, SB county that could help me, please chime in.....

i will feed ya! we can talk shop. I am sure there might be some frags in it for ya....

this guy is wrecking havoc in my tank muching on acros....i need him gone!

Im pretty sure I have one in my tank as well. I had to take out all my rhodactis and ricordea as it was eating them. I found it one night, guy was about 2ft long. Not sure how im going to catch it, I figured the tuskfish would have eaten him, but i guess not, and now the tuskfish is gone.

BTW, they are very sensitive to vibrations, really hard buggers to catch.

Well guys I have had some issues with fireworms I know they arent as big. I had to remove them manually - everyone told me to set a trap - but that never worked. What I had to do is wait till night to catch them. use a red light and sit by the tank for hours till I see them poking out of there hole. leave your lid off - becuase they can feel any vibrations. they by your self some stainless tongs. I bought some with some larger ends which was a mistake - you have less control and harder to manuver inbetween rock and so forth. also harder to grab smaller objects. I pulled 7 - 9-12 inch fireworms worms out of my 90G tank over a period of 3 weeks - talk about sleepless nights - they seem to come out more if I had moved the rocks they where in - so if I moved it that night when the lights where on - they came out right before light where to shut down (11pm) - Hey if you want help just let me know - I might learn a thing or two
