My Tank Build

So I’m preparing to leak test my plumbing and eventually the tank, but I have a quick question.

Should I be conducting leak test using tap water or RODI?

I ask this based on preventing the introduction of anything harmful that may be in the tap as its of course not run through the DI system. Am I being paranoid or am I on to something here?

I would just use rodi, then you don’t have to waste a bunch of tap water, especially if it’s a pretty large system.

If you are making your own rodi than use it so all you have to do is add salt to iif it pass. Tap water would be just fine for testing only

I use RODI for the same reason All Delight states... assuming it all checks out, then you don't have to empty then re-fill... just add salt.
