do they look like coiled poo piles and not move? if so they are vermatid snails (bad) and should be removed. could be mini cerths if move. I cant see pic without my glasses, and they are at work

Yes lil black poo piles that dont move…i can dislodge them off the rocks with some effort

+1 vermitwd snails.

no real way to rid tank of these- some say bumble bee snails eat them- but if so then not faster then they can grow lol. I lee a few in the tanks just in case lol- but I’ve never seen them eat any. I manually remove them and try to get the base when I see them. They haven’t been particularly bad for me- but they do let out a “feeding net” that can irritate corals. In some of my tanks they went away on their own over time- but they can get out of control too and become a problem.

Agreed it is Vermetidae snail. Bubble bee snails work very slowly and only at night they will work but might take a few months for you to see progress(probably the slowest snail I have seen ) They also will eat your other snails if they have the chance. You can use them plus manual removal. I have also heard of snow but didn't try it on them.
