Live rock rubbles in Sump

I have all three chambers of my sump filled with live rock rubbles...will this be an issue?

If you have Maxi jet with flow in there will be fine.

I inherited 10 gallon full of live rock rubbles. So I just filled my 30 gallon return chamber, fuge that has a dsb, and skimmer chamber with about 5 inches of live rock rubbles. Reading alot of mix reviews whether is would be beneficial or not.

No issues here the drain chamber is full of live rock rubble and coral skeletal remains.

where can I locally get rubble rock? how much should it cost me per lbs?

usually goes for 1-3 duckets a pound...

yeah chula vista is pretty far... i went to fishsupply and the doode there tried to charge me 3-4bucks per piece.. bananas

JoJo. You say your overflow(drain chamber) is full of rock?

My tank current tank has been running for almost 3 years with Rubble Rock and Coral Skeleton in the sump part of my tank. If a coral bleaches out, I just throw the calcium skeleton in to my sump! It works great as filtration. Where would natural bacteria rather live? An all natural coral skeleton (Where they have lived in the ocean for hundreds of thousands of years) or a plastic bioball? You be the judge.

I don't know about the overflow being filled though, as stuff builds up in there it may one day get clogged and you could end up with a hell of a mess on your hands!
