hello to all,
The other day I sucked up a flat worm off of my hammer coral with a turkey baster. I think that was the last one. (yeah right) anyway, i wanted to see how dirty my rock was. man, all kinds of stuff blew off. here is my question; am i suppose to that every once and while? have any you done this?

Occasionally I take a powerhead and blow off my rocks. We dont get the surge that the reef gets to clean off the rocks once and awhile.

i was just amazed at all of the sediment that came off.

yup you need to do that every so often then vacuum out the crud floating around.
