No, we use hoop nets. Can't use traps. They have to b able to get out. Your allowed to have 5 nets per-person or 10 per-boat max. Last year we got pulled up on by fishing game. They made sure we knew the rules and we were legal. The officer said b4 he boarded "if I find one thing illegal on this boat I will impound it"

It's illegal to sell fish or game taken with a recreational license. My friend who is a local game warden searches these boards regularly. So unless you want a warden knocking on your door I suggest checking out the lobster shin dig in San Pedro...
