if you don't get any hits for chaeto, I picked some up from corals anonymous last month for really cheap (i think for 10?) As far as I could tell, it was pest free, super healthy, and growing like crazy now.

Is there any method to quarantine and treating chaetomorpha to make it pest free?
Which pests? I'd start with a fresh RO/DI water dunk and visual inspection. If you're really strict you could observe it for a few weeks to months to make sure no aiptasia or other algae are present. If you're talking about fish pests too then you'll be obeserving for 2-3 months. I know fresh water dips take care of dinos pretty well. I want to say chaeto is pretty tolerant to hydrogen peroxide dosing/dipping as well. Hopefully someone more experienced with it can chime in for you.

Pest like flatworms, ich, nuisance algaes.
