Good luck in Honolulu, a bit off topic but, I wished I went to some of the aquariums in Maui. They were only lit by the sun which I thought was cool.

The spiky ogo one or the flat ruffly leafy "rose petal"? got tons of the rose petal one that is nuts, the spiky ogo was dominant for like 2 yrs but i think iron ran out or something, now its just a couple sprigs. but i can probably fish some sprigs out

yeah it was my first time at the one in maui a couple years ago, took our nephew there and it was great, cool place and seeing an aquarium like that with a little kiddo is always so fun.

I haven't been to Hawaii since I was like 12 years old. I do miss it, I visited only Maui. I am not sure about their laws at the moment since some things have changed but, it be cool to collect some fish if you plan to get a tank set up again while there. I know that at least with fishing for like game fish there you just need to be a state resident and you can fish for free.

yeah I'm not sure yet on setting up a tank. i plan to take some of the equipment with me but i'm thinking actually being in the water will scratch the itch enough. I say this now we'll see how it turns out.

Saw someone shot a 600$ achiles tang with a spear gun in Hawaii... I mean if you like fishing Hawaii has an issue with ta'ahe being introduced. There is no bag limit on those.
