This one's called the Blaiseballz goni.
Picture was taken by Samsung GalaxyZFold4 under Radions G4 pro using 100% UV, 100% violet, 100% royal blue, 0% regular blue, 0% whites, 0% green, and 0% red spectrum. This is a front side view picture which was taken using an Orphek 15k orange gel filter with no photoshop.
I originally got this from Toan from Tong's Tropical Fish in Fountain Valley as the Amazeball but later found out that it was not it. I learned that from a few Northern California reefers when I did the Sunnyvale's CFM show about a year ago or so. The first 2 reefers that noticed the difference told me that it's not the Amazeball and I started to get worried if I'm selling a fake goni but as the conversation ended, they told me that this one is better and that there are more than 1 kind of Amazeballs going around, which I didn't know about. Then a 3rd guy came to me and said that he also thinks that it's not the Amazeball and that he thinks it's a higher quality goni. Although one of the two first reefers suggested me to rename it, I didn't know what to think at first until the 3rd dude told me to rename since it's a higher quality version and that it's better to not confuse anyone in the hobby, to which I agreed. He's the one that really encouraged me to rename it. He said to name it after him, he's name is Blaise Seraile, a well known Northern Cali reefer. He said to name it as Blaiseball, lol. So I said, "okay" as we laughed it off. He took one home as I congratulations him as the first owner of the new Blaiseball goni (original buyer). On my long journey back to home to Socal, I thought about what he said for quite some time then decided to give him the honors of the new strain goni. A big thanks to these 3 Northern Cali reefers who helped me understand what I had and a special thanks to Blaise for pushing me to rename this beautiful goni.
This is a 5 colors goni: purple, gold, yellow, green, and blue. When I first got her, she was not doing so good, she was a little dark and mostly brown but I trusted Toan and decided to get it anyways as I knew I was able to color her up. When this goni finally started to do better, one of the first things I noticed is the yellow tentacles. Then the yellow started to spread from mostly the stem of the tentacles then all throughout the entire shaft of the tentacle. Then I started to see the dark brown polyps begin to turn dark purple. As the coloration progressed, the yellow became brighter and brighter, and began to notice the gold tips on the polyps. From here, I started to see some neon green/blue near the base of the goni where each tentacles meet one another. The gold began to bleed throughout the polyps and these tiny blue balls began to form at the tip of each polyps. Finally, I noticed the purple plum color on the center of each polyp which is really what makes this goni distinct from the Amazeball and any other goni in the hobby. This is the only one that does that. There is not another goni in the world that has these colors.
I am so glad I had a chance to grow something this beautiful and, thus, became something that is now truely special to me. She's my baby, I took good care of her for such a long time and told no one about it until I began to rehome her. What a wonderful experience it's been so far meeting people who share the same joy and excitement, as I do, in goniporas. I certainly had no expectations of anything beyond seeing this goni grow, I had absolutely no idea just how happy I was going to be once the coloration began to take form. To my surprise, she's one of the most beautiful corals in the hobby today and will likely be for a long time, at least in my world lol. This is a picture I took a few days ago and the goni needs more time to color up to reach it's final coloration stage, which is something I saw about a year ago. Despite the lack of her full coloration stage, she is still extraordinary and bright. Behold, the SS Blaiseballz goni
