Maxi Mini Carpet Anemone shrinking

Newbie here looking for advise... I have a mini max carpet anemone that is attached to a small rock. I have had this for over a year now and made a mistake of moving the anemone and the rock up closer to the light like my BTA. Eversince then, its has shrunk... Color is still good but not extending like it used to ..Currently hosting an anemone shrimp. I have since moved it down to the bottom of my tank where it used to be. Still have not extended like it used to and not eating like it used to...Any advise would be appreciated...

These (all anemone) are peculiar. But if tank parameters are good, then our recommendation is to feed it about every 2 days (maybe 3) small bits of scallop or shrimp. The feeding response (not huge meals) helps to distress them sometimes. It has worked for ours when we have minor issues
