Hello,
I had this monti that was originally red with green. Over the last few weeks it has been turning white and not super happy. I posted a picture of it under blues with orange filter.

Sent ATI test out only thing that stuck out was iodine ? Any suggestions on why it might be turning white

Yeah it does look un-happy. I don’t see anything g in your icp or parameters that is glaring out as an issue.

how long have you had the monti? How are other corals doing?

I’ve had it for about 4 months and it’s right next to a green one that looks good. I did take it out and dip it and nothing came off. Only thing I could think of is par ? It’s right around 200 par

Par doesn’t seem too high. But I know some like lower light.
I’ve had a few that kind of did that when I first got them but settled in after a few weeks. But 4 months it should be acclimated already.

man I don’t see anything that is pointing towards a cause.

maybe try to put in a little lower light and see if that helps. Sorry I wish I had more to offer

Are you sure you dont have Monti eating Nudibranchs?

Only dip I know that will kill them is Bayer Complete.

I had them in my last tank a couple years ago… they eat Montis quickly.

commenting for visibility and so I'll get pinged. I have a digitata that's encrusted over my rock for almost a year now. Only a 5 gal tank, but its been crazy hardy and happy the entire time. Just a week or so ago, it started going white. polyp extension is weak and polyps are half bleached and only look light pink now. Did a fairly large water change a couple days ago, going to start feeding the tank better too. I hope yours turns around!
