Have slowly been converting this tank into reef from F/O. Started by having 3 doors installed on the 12-inch canopy. Tank is acrylic which I will never go with again. Scratched the heck out of it getting it installed and trying to "buff" out thick scratches is a joke. Any future tank will be starfire glass for sure. This tank is in my garage and I have an 80T in my office but just shut that tank down and selling it. I not a huge fan of SPS so most of my corals are softies and polyps. I also like having quite a few fish in my tank and have a fondness for tangs. I currently have six in my tank and they all are doing well together for the time being. My tangs: pacific, red sea sailfin, yellow, powder-blue, straitus, sohal wrasses: twin spot and xmas clowns: sabae and GSM , midas blenny, dragon goby, foxface and green mandarin. I'm not running MH on this tank as of yet...dual 48" satellites which seem to be fine and 4 moonlights. The tank already has been running hot enough so glad I don't have halides on there. So for now this tank will do....when I have the cash to drop I think that I'll have to step up to 500g so I can have my aquatic playland.

Thanks for the nice words...here are some more pics including Lucky, my twin spot wrasse. He was missing in a fellow reefers 500g for 4 days....buried in the sand and was found alive. I'm hoping his twin orange spots come back but he is a beautiful fish and so far has left my shrimp alone...knock on wood.

The orange spot will come back as long as you keep him healthy. I used to have one for couple years. Finally, i get rid of him cuz he keep on flipping my rock and corals
