So, after a long run with RFA’s, my Lagoon crashed with 100+ baby rock flowers.. a month later my 2 year old IM 25 Lagoon sprung a leak at the base seam..

I consolidated all equipment to one tank..been running 6 months clean with ZERO maintenance.. here it is.

So equipment:

AIO added to an ADA 60F.. built by a guy on eBay to my specs.. did a good job.
Smart ATO
Digital Aquatics Controller with cheap cooling fan, night light strip, heater with a bag of carbon and poly fill filter. Cheap.. easy.

It can get up to 90 degrees in my Appt.. the tank does not vary more than 1/2 a degree!

In the cabinet we have A-neutronics power bar. Highly recommend. Cabinet cooling fans.. a hole drilled thru to the battery backup mounted “off the cabinet” flow air around it and into the cabinet. The fans are temp controlled.. this keeps the battery backup at 70 degrees.

Sicce Micra plus return pump on full, low flow from the diffuser, high volume turnover.

MP10 pump on battery backup.. 72 hour run time.

Kessil Tuna A160 with controller.. LOVE it.

Livestock:

5 margarita snails keep the tank clean. I clean the face and one side of glass per week. That’s it. I change 2 gallons per week or 2. That’s it. I stirr the sand bed daily. I don’t vacuum the sand.
Margarita snails need a cooler stable temp. 77.1 is where the tank stays. The snails have lived well over a year.

We have brittle stars and copepods.. in as hitchhikers but reproducing well.

We have 1 Damsel and that’s enough to keep biology cycling.

I feed pellets
Reef snow (switching to roids) twice weekly
Red Sea aminos daily
Coral Pro Salt.. used to use Instant Ocean. Never again, all I’m saying.

Now.. for the bounce mushrooms

The Zoas, gsp, and leathers were taken from the Lagoon break down.. the arch was built (still growing)

And everything else that wasn’t a “high dollar” coral was taken to the LFS.

The first Bounce added was a ReefKoi and baby Golden Dragon
