Hi all,

I was looking to sell my clam. I've had him for 3 years. He would always respond to my hang going over him. When i finally took a picture of his foot this is what I noticed. We all on the forum talk about have the foot in place is that a controversial debate?

Please let me know! Thanks.

It does not appear to be a completely dangerous situation. did you pull the clam off of a rock? was he seated tightly on something? can you post a pic of the clam opened after that photo? how open and/or how gaped the mouth is will tell all signs of health. I would still like to purchase the clam. I can nurse it back to a healthy state.

Thank you. here are a couple of my clams. sold this first one at last years Reef-a-palooza. I cared for it so much that i acclimated it into the new owners tank and re-aquascaped the tank in order to fit this 14" clam. monitored the tank for weeks just to make sure it was in a healthy environment. I regret selling it.

This second clam is right under 12 inches. has a great baby blue color....

I took another to MAX just to show it off. everyone loved waiving that hand over it. It was fun to see people enjoy it.
