Ok,
here is my short review of my teco chiller.
I bought the 1/3hp tr-20. i got it from marinedepot. from time of order to delivery was 6 business days. first off, the packaging is outstanding. no signs of stress on any of the styrofoam or nicks on any of the boxes. Marinedepot has the item drop shipped from teco.
I open the box to reveal a beautiful chiller. the thing is awesome. it is built on a little shock/sound isolation plate. the compressor sits on the sound damper to isolate from the ground. the whole thing bounces.... it is great. the connections are first class, with shut off valves and quick disconnects.
the screen is serviceable from the bottom via a pullout tray. (neat idea) on off switch and plug are on the side of the chiller and sit flush on the chiller [removable plug] so the thing can be moved in and out of tight places without obstruction.
the readout is clear and adjustment is easy. the silent mode works as advertised and is noticeable from the moment you hit the switch. It is rated to pull down.

there are other chillers with higher BTU ratings. but they run at higher wattages and amperage.
note: all three chillers are in the same size housing and all can be fitted with a heater and UV sterilizer....
so far so good.
