My sump is filthy - how about yours?

So it begins…I’ve yanked the skimmer and soaking citric acid overnight.

Skimmer area is sorta clean now.

I once had an OCD phase where I put a Jebao pump in every compartment in my sump to keep it clean. It satisfied my OCD, but not sure how useful it was.

lol - too funny. I used to do that on my other tanks. For this tank, I got manifolds so can direct flow inside compartment without a need for pumps. I don’t have any AC power touching water except heaters, which is turned off most of the time. Safety first!

Yeah - detritus will collect but if I can reduce the maintenance, that would help.

As an update — skimmer, reactors, and sump were cleaned as of this morning.

@bakbay Larry i remember the first time I went to your place and walked into your tank room and came back to the car and told my gf that I walked into a room that was bigger than my apartment and she said "so he has tanks in his apartment also?" And I said "no, he has a back house solely dedicated to his fish" ....I never heard back from that girl again. Thanks "bro"
