Need a custom acrylic tank. Recommendations?

Tank prices are going to be up there, specially since it's custom.. glass tanks are prob going to be right around there n if u want starphire glass it's even going to be more. Unless ur lucky to find a used tank of that exact dimensions.. n that is not a common dimension so... Tough...

I'd go glass, much easier to clean. It's heavy but you only move it once, where as you clean the tanks panels at least once a week, if not twice. Once your acrylic tank starts to get scratches or hazes, it's gonna look like crap. At least glass doesn't show scratches as easy.
IMO, glass you pay for it all up front. Cost and difficulty of moving. After that ownership is rewarding. Acrylic is the opposite.

Just don't give them much of a deposit and definitely don't get suckered into the line, "it's $1200, if you pay for it in full I can discount it to $1000". I fell for it and the sump that was supposed to take 2 weeks, took 6 months. And only really got done because a good friend of mine was a good friend of theirs and he got involved on my behalf. Their craftsman ship is very good and a very nice guy. Just make sure you keep him incentivized to finish the job.
Lmao well like I said, it’s an in-wall aquarium so I’d only see the front panel. I’ll give them a call and see how much they quote.

I’m seriously considering just buying the glass and making it myself. I’ve made sumps out of glass before but haven’t tried an aquarium. I’m just a little nervous about not using a brace for a tank of that size but I’ll do some research.

Here's my opinion and i'm sure a lot of the more experienced reefers will agree.
Building your own is not smart unless you really know what you are doing. If and when it explodes on you the cost of replacing your floors and fixing the water damage to your home will make a $1200 custom tank look like a deal. Why risk it?
Look at it this way. If someone quoted you $600 for a custom tank you would buy it. So consider the extra $600 for a brand new well built tank the cost of the stress and headache of building your own.
If it was me and I never had the extra cash I would wait till I did and do it right the first time.
Once again just my input.
