Ok Guys and gals... Like I said, I am intersted in replacing my 135 with a Nano, now that my recording studio is up and running... I am currently at an impass... I have two friends that are willing to sell me their nano's at a good price... The first is a 12 gallon Aquapod from Current with upgraded 96 watt 50/50 lighting for less than 100.00.... The other is a JEBO 30 gallon with stand for 200.00, I believe it had PC's as well... I was also in contact with a buddy today and he guarrenteed me a 24 gallon AquaPod with an current 150watt HQI fixture for 320.00... What do you all think... Any suggestions are appreciated... Thanks Chris...

It all depends on what you want to keep and how much work you are willing or how much time you have to devote to the tank. If you want something easy and low maintenance, going with the PC's will be fine for most softies and lots of LPS.

In terms of size, the 30 is good but I've never had experience with either of those tanks. Although from what I have seen, the Jebo's are not exactly high quality stuff.

Getting the MH will allow you many more options down the road but still allow you to keep whatever you want, to a degree. IMO, MH does make the corals look better with the right bulb.

When it comes down to it, get something where you won't feel regret later that you should have bought the other tank.

I want to basically keep either a species tank of Harlequin shrimp or a mini reef tank with a pair of either marron clowns or black and white ocellaris clowns, with a RBTA and a sand sifting blenny... A starfish and a clean up crew...

I would go with either of the larger tanks. Probably the Aquapod. The 12g tanks are just too limiting. Maroon clowns would be really cramped in a 12g AIO (which has a 8g display).

my vote is for the 24g w/ mh... not only will your rbta thank you like StanD says, but you'll also thank yourself later for buying the better light setup! :)
