I Need help and idea. I have this 180 gallon 6x2x2 display tank. I Wanted to buy 4x AI Hydra 26 HD With the bracket. My question is will this bracket hold this kinda tank that i have? It has a 3.5”-4” glass lip all around the top tank. Also has about .5” of gap to hold the bracket. Any tips or idea that can help me. Hanging on the ceiling is a NO NO for me.

I don't think that bracket will hold on that tank. Looks like the bolt is much higher up than .5". It's probably not something you're willing to do but you could drain the water from the tank, move it forward and bolt some extruded aluminum or conduit to the back, then move the tank back into place and refill it. Other than that you could move the artwork above it and add a shelf to hang the lights from. Another option would be making a rack out of extruded aluminum that sits on the top of the tank like this but you would probably want to line to feet with rubber and might want to size it so it sits inside the lip and maybe have a bracket hanging over to hold it in place:

With a nice eurobraced tank like that I would go through the hassle and bolt some extruded aluminum to the back. The other options are not as aesthetically pleasing imo.

Thats a good idea about to bolt the aluminum from the back. I just need to find who sell it and what are the cost.
