Established colonies are. Much more difficult to deal with than frags. Alk 8, cal 420-450, mag 1300-1450, phos under .1.

I have almost the same light (32) and grew sps on the sand bed at 70%. Light was 12” from waterline. Sand bed was 16” from water line. I would lower the intensity to 50% or move your colonies lower. That light is pretty powerful with hotspots in between the clusters.

How’s your tank and sps colonies doing, OP? Any change to light settings / water parameters? Curious.
