yeah but your overflow is probably bigger. My overflow size will only be 6x6 and the height will be shorter then 18". Reef central has a calculator for that. Mine will probably be closer to 1000 gph.

if you install the bypass, the TEE right above the pump, between the pump and the sqwd, and put a valve betweeen the tee and teh sqwd, and then ran a pipe from the tee back to the sump, you wont have to worry about it...

you can throttle the flow down to match whatever your overflow will handle...

This way you cn use whatever pump you find on sale, or if your pump goes out, and you have to use a back up...

Also, you will need to use an adapter to go from the one inch builkhead down to a smaller size, to match the output of the sqwd. (I think that was 3/4"), so it would be 3/4" tubing to either a 3/4" barb to 1" male threaded ninety. or a 3/4" barb to 3/4 pvc adapter, and then a 3/4 to 1" pvc ninety

I will see if I can find the parts for you.. but not sure the size of the sqwd

When it comes closer to buying plumbing ill have to have you come over and help me out lol.

Is this what you mean with the return line? Have like a tee? And what kind of valve would you put in there? If you could like send me links to these kinds of parts that'd be great! :D
