Just wanted to show my new build coming.

It is a 48x30x20 rimless starfire tank.

Equipment:
AI Hydra 26 x2
MP40 x2
Vectra M1
Neptune Apex
Neptune Dos & DDR
Synergy reef ghost overflow
Trigger systems sump
Aquaeuro Apex Titanium 1/4 Chiller

Planning on an LPS dominated tank.

Please excuse the mess, haven't sorted everything out yet. Aquascape is not finished either, just kind of threw the rocks in to get an idea of what I want to do.

sick and clean display reminds me of mine but you got the newer apex. Who built your tank?

Nice looking setup! Just a comment, I have 2 hydra 26 over a 36"x24"x18" and they are barely sufficient. I am thinking to add some supplemental lighting. I rented a par meter and the par(250 to 300) is good right under the lights but as you move right to left or down it drops off pretty quick and mine are covering a smaller area then yours. If you just plan on softies you should be ok but if you are planning any lps or sps you might be better with two hydra 52.

Very nice tank! I agree that the Hydra 26s may run out of steam pretty fast as you start to plant corals further away from the light with a tank that big. Once it's filled with water, see if you can borrow a PAR meter to see what your levels are at. I don't think you need to upgrade the lights immediately, unless you go on a coral shopping spree.

Nice setup. What type of lps are you keeping?
Euphyllia, acans, cyphastreas, etc

I was thinking about adding the aquatic life 48in hybrid system to the 26s. The 26s will come from my old tank when I start to move everything over. So I could add a 52 between possibly. Not 100% finished with equipment or anything yet.

Yes, par meter will definitely be used once it is up and running.

Why do you say eurobraced instead? Stand is 36in.

Yes, that may be a good way to go. I am thinking the same thing only 36in. The extra T5's will provide good supplemental lighting
