I think it would be a great idea to start a group buy with fish street. Especially since they offer warranty. If I woulda bought my wp25 from them they would have taken care of the failed pump I have.
I dont think you get a warranty in a groupbuy except maybe the original purchaser .

Fish street usually has good service.

I think I want two of them but not sure if I should go rw8 or rw15 on my 70 gallon. Only $10 difference. I wish they could put them next to a wp25 for size conparison

These actually look to have a better design than the ecotechs. Im excited to see if these things work out. Stupid ecotech and their $675 pumps lol....
That's what I'm saying man. The people complained because of X Y Z, and 3 months later an updated pump comes out with the fix. American company's should take notes...lol They pretty much use us as R&D. I'm sure that pissed some people off, but for $70-$100 a pump, it's hard to complain.
I always believe in paying more to get a better product and customer service BUT with all these pumps and everyone talking about how nice they are for a fraction of the cost. I'm tempted to try a couple of these and not pay an arm and leg for the "popular pumps"

Based on these spec's you can turn them down to almost nothing

RW-08
8 Different Flow Rate (700 - 8000 Litres)

RW-15
8 Different Flow Rate (1200 - 15000 Litres)

I wouldn't waste my money on a jabao considering as time has passed I've read more and more that have failed, etc. for how much money we spend on our tanks buck up and get something that's simply better and will last much longer.

Plus I don't see how you compare these to vortechs they are totally different. Might be better than the WPs but that's about the extent of it imo

My Dual RW8
Power: level 1
Wave speed: about 45% to give me a slower wave motion.

These things are seriously powerful. The pump head seems about the same size of a MP10 but with the motor just attached to the back.
I believe the max I could run is maybe just up to level 2 or 3 or else it starts blowing sand and a ton of water into the overflow.

So I haven't read anything from the thread yet. But how is this any different fro. The wps? They just make waVes right? Slightly different looking body.

And how is it suppose to be the mp knock off if there's no westside and dry side?

Also it looks like they slowed down the pulse of the wave too.
