Davocean did an amazing job with the external trimming. He also built a sturdy tank rack in the fish room which will hold my qt, macro lagoon tank, and frag tank.

Nice Build! I've seen a few of Davoceans stands on RC before and his are all top notch! Can't wait to see more progress!

Hey guys! This thread is due for an update! I've had some ups and a lot more downs in the last 4 months. I lost a few colonies during the transfer, lots of fish not making though the qt process. I feel that things are doing great and stabilizing. Now on the hunt for corals to full this tank. Here's a quick vid of the fish feeding on nori.

I just picked up an established Moorish Idol from another local reefer. It's already eating pellets and flakes.

Just a view of the office from the fish perspective.

Hey guys, just a quick update. The moorish unfortunately did not last past the 4 month mark despite having a good appetite. Really bummed about his lost.
On a brighter note, I did add a small purple tang, 3 barlett anthias, and a 8 line fairy wrasse last week.
I was getting a thick brown algae growth on my glass every couple of days that was a pain to clean. Turns out I wasn't changing my filter socks out often enough. Sometimes leaving in there for weeks at a time. So nitrate was through the roof. I have yanks it since, and the algae is gone away and the skimmer is skimming more efficiently. Will leave it off for the time being.
Haven't add any corals for a while but definitely feeling the itch. Looking to remove a few anenomes first!
Happy holidays all!
