I recently expanded my optometry office and knew I wanted to dedicate a space to an in wall reef tank. My patients love my current 150 g and i wanted to integrate a larger in wall system where I can do all the maintenance behind closed walls. The spot where the system will be is my old reception desk area.

Bigger expanded space

The tank is an advance acrylic 72x36x26 with external overflow. I also have a custom sump made by them as well.

Some progress from today

Will update soon with equipment list and more pictures. I hope to move the current 150 over soon this week.

I don't know about you guys but I'd rather be looking at the receptionists in the first pic than the tank. Just sayin

Just got this in the mail. Not quite sure how I feel about this as a return pump yet. My dc return pump that came with the cadlight system crapped out on me after 1 year. They look look mighty similar

That's comforting to know! Do you have it dialed down? Do you have it split to other lines?

I have the same return on my 225. Have had it running for about 4 months. I have it dialed down to the third setting out of like 10 (I like slow flow through my uv light and the most contact time with my skimmer) and it powers my bio pellet reactor too.

Thanks guys! Yes it's Acyrlic Cody. Being in an commercial space I didn't want to take any chances with a glass tank.

Thanks! Just sat down with a local reefer/carpenter to work out the detail of the trim and canopy door. The creator of the octopus canopy

Hopefully should be all done by next week.
We are also building a 3 story tank rack in the fish room for a qt tank, macro lagoon, and a frag tank.
More pix to come!
