My Tank Build

What’s up SoCaliReefers
I’ve been running my current tank for about 2yrs, but I’ve always enjoyed viewing coral from above, so I had a frag tank made to fit my stand.
I’d like to transfer everything but the sand to the new tank, and wanted some advice on how to go about it. I currently have another frag tank set up with my coral. I’m planing to go bare bottom, since this new tank is acrylic, I don’t want to add more things that could potentially scratch it. I may add sand to the sump idk yet. Should there be a need to let the tank cycle, since I’m basically planing to fill the tank with seasoned tank water, and live rocks? I was hoping I could just basically let the tank settle for a couple of days, and transfer everything over?
Any advice is greatly appreciated!
Thanks, Gus

I would cut frags of each coral in the main display/current frag setup, have it heal then transfer over once healed giving time for your tank to settled and parameters in check. Are you using the same amount of live rock as previous?

Yes, I’m using the same amount of live rock. Most of my coral consists of Zoas, murshooms, and a couple of easy Montipora.
The only other things I have are a
squamosa clam, a couple of rbta, and an LPS or two.
