Hey everyone. Just want to introduce myself. Moved here from Oregon setting up a lagoon25. Any tips on local shops would be appreciated.

I was in Mystic Reef last week and all the lights were off on the livestock tanks and it was hard to get a look at some of the fish and inverts. I thought maybe the fish werent doing well and the shop owner was trying to hide it but another shop down the street was running the tanks with no lights too. Im quickly realizing that these shops are probably just trying to keep temps down. Not a problem in the Pacific Northwest for sure. Any shops in the Anaheim area you guys recommend?

Not many shops in IE, I go to Treasures of the sea off Van Buren, near me and good stock of sps and lps.

American reef is good. And a sponcer. Mystic is OK if you know what you are looking at. They have been known to over value corals.

Mystic is great but you may have to haggle with them. Theres saltys which is LPS and a lot of big fish and treasures of the sea. Owner is very knoledgable. Ive never been to American reef. Where is it?
