Hey guys, I'm currently a college student and on a budget, but I wanted to make my 120 gallon tank that was given to me awesome as possible!

I've been looking into aquascaping, however I want my tank to be a reef salt water tank.

I've looked around my local area for aquascaping designs, but they're too pricey for me. Does anyone know good and safe online sites that sell reasonably priced aquascaping designs?

I really can’t help with your topic but to be honest a 120g might be out of your price range.
Here’s why I say this. To start up a 120 is going to be quiet expensive just to get it going. Between lights, rock, sand (if you put sand), water, pumps, filtration, and additives. Even if your able to find good deals on the forums you still need to be will to drive all over socal and be one of the first people to respond to the add. But to be honest the hobby is not what it use to be. There was always members giving things away on here. But the flipper killed that. The flippers would get something for free use it for a week or so then turn around and sell it. So not many members give things away like they use too. Cause there someone out there that’s not going to pay it forward.

My recommendation is to see if you can trade the 120 for a smaller all in one setup. Like 10 to 30 gallon. That size would be much more budget friendly

By aquascaping design, do you mean having someone come in and stack your rocks for you? I know that exist but why not just do it yourself? If you need ideas just do an image search for reef tanks and I'm sure you'll find one that you'll like.
