Have anyone here used a nitrifying bacteria when setting up a new tank to shorten the cycle, cycle can be as short as 7-8 days? I’m looking into maybe using One and Only Dr tims auatics. Pls share your experience.

I've used Dr. Tim's and Microbacter over the years. Once to cycle. I prefer Dr. Tim's. Dr. Tim has a kit complete with ammonia which I haven't used it but plan to soon. hth

Dr.tims kit is great I've used it multiple times on displays and quickly setting up QT tanks. It takes all guess work out of the cycle.

My go to was dr Tim's ammonia paired with fritz turbo start. It seemed to get through the nitrite cycle faster.

I just added a bottle of Fritz Turbo in the morning. I just got home and the whole house smells like rotten eggs, ass, and swine all together. At least I know it is working.
