Nyos torq and bio pellets

I have the nyos torq with the large chamber along with bio pellets and it seems to not tumble evenly. Only half the media is tumbling. Any suggestion on how to fix it?? Im low key thinking of just putting it side ways xP

Emailed Nyos and got the response that the bio pellets are to heavey. Is this even possible? Im leaning to the side of either pump is too weak since it powers multiple cylinders types or its a design flaw on how the water input.....

Did you shake it to break up the clumps and allow water to flow through?

Its not that their clumped together or sticking, its more like only flow goes towards that direction.

Remove the bottom sponge if it is in there?

I tried everything and the best results that I got was putting the bio medial on the top portion and removed both sponges......Best reply I got from Nyos was that the media is too heavy. Is their anything as lighter bio pelletsl??

Well I am not sure what pellets you are using but I have used Dr. Tims Pearls in the past with great results. They are expensive but tend to run on the smaller side I believe.

How long has the media been in the reactor? Sometimes it takes a while for them to all tumble.
also, have you checked the nothing is blocking the outlet or inlet of the pump?
