Excited for this! Haven't been to a local coral show before;

What can I expect vs a bigger one like Reefapalooza?
Well the raffle is better! Parking is free. You can really spend some time with vendors and look at corals so you won't miss out on the overlooked gems.

Anyone selling amazeball Goni this show? Might sneak out from work early to take a look. Last show was great.

Will be my first coral show also. Glad it’s only 20 mins from me!!
There’s a big difference bigger shows have more choices of livestock and a lot more equipment and larger raffles vs small shows more like frag swaps less vendors but more personal and community oriented.

I actually like that a lot. Sounds like it will be a good learning and overall experience as well.

You had me at "Parking is Free"
Reefapalooza was starting to get ridiculous.

But no Frag Swaps in any official capacity, correct? It's more just that feel, and if you do want to do frag swaps, I am guessing it's just on our own to meet up with other members at the event, correct? So as to give vendors priority.

I am looking for micro algae in different varieties for my 25 gallon tank tank w/sump.
Does anyone there sell that?

Do you mean macroalgae? Because microalgae would generally have to refer to phyto, and it seems some are definitely selling phyto cultures but that is not what you want in a 25 gallon tank.

Are you looking for things like caulpera, gracilaria, and chaeto?
