there's a certain level of "pay to play" too.

i think at the super cheap cost of entry on this one, we had a lot of people who basically just fell through on their commitments to follow up with photos, updates, etc.

i think if the cost of entry is more like 20-30 bucks (just throwing numbers out, i have no idea), it would weed out some of the people, and maybe allow for aquacultured pieces.

I would be willing to go in at 20-30 bucks. Tank is getting to be in a better position for some sps. I unfortunately had my piece bleach out due to laziness in my part this past round

I'm down for a chalice. The reason most grow outs start with wild colonies is because no one has a piece already. As long as it's nice I'm okay with whatever.

I'm down for a $20-30 piece. A chalice would be nice, but it'd have to be pretty big to split up. I say, if we do a mariculture, it'll have to be more hardy than SPS. So LPS would be a good choice and maybe some kind of monti would be acceptable if there was to be an SPS frag.

definitely a fast grower in my tank. really nice purply blue, Many new branches and encrusting like crazy had to add more super glue to the shelf so it can continue encrusting. added the first pic of comp to compare growth.
