How long does unopen frozen last? This is from 2018 never been thawed since I bought it. My cheap side feels it is a waste to dump it. Think it still might be good? Maybe thaw it and see if it smells?

If it doesn’t smell like death then I think your good. Maybe by a new pack and use a little of both when you feed.

I agree. If it passed the smell test your probably good to go. I have heard (but no proof) that when frozen for long periods of time it could loose some of its nutritional values. But some say it does-some says it doesn’t - but all agree it must smell normal.
Good luck! HAPPY REEFING!

Mysis could still be good, test a cube with the fish to see if they feed on it. The reef nutrition, I don’t know about that stuff because the whole bottle needs to be thawed & I wouldn’t trust it after 24 hours of thawing.

Yeah when I finish my cycle I will start to see if the food is good.
The reef nutrition I will use a saw to cut them in section and portion them out. Or I can fridge thaw it for 24 hours and then portion it and cryofreeze them.
