I recently drove out to Glendora, to check out OnlyFins. Awesome little shop with a good selection of corals, but I made the drive because they offer fully quarantined fish.

The owner was very helpful and was able to explain his full QT protocol to me. I left with a fully QT’d Ornate leopard wrasse and a white tailed bristle tooth tang. A fish that’s been on my want list for some time, so I’m stoked on that.

He keeps his salinity at reef tank levels so I was literally able to float an drop them in the system. Both are eating and the bristletooth is out and about, putting in work picking the rocks. Pricing was more than fair for QTd fish. I had an awesome experience and wanted to share here for anyone looking for QTd fish locally.

I agree he should. He is getting ready to move the shop to San Dimas, so he’s got some deals running on QT fish at the moment. He mentioned he has hopes to be able to offer inverts/cuc that have gone through a fallow period once at the new place. Looking forward to checking it out.

Personally I’m not shooting to be ich free, I don’t plan to QT corals ect. But it’s great peace of mind for velvet, flukes and internal parasites for sure. Well worth the price I paid, for sure.

Check it out. He mentioned I can shoot him a wish list and he'll let me know if he can get them in to QT. He's not bringing anything in until he's moved, but cool to know for the future fish list.
