so i got my new 90 to set up. Drain is a 1.5" bulkhead. Has anyone here used ABS pipe (black pipe used under sinks etc...) Someone was telling me to put an ABS adapter on the bottom end of the bulkhead drain which I can attach the ABS pipe directly to. Also do you prefer clear plastic tubing or pvc for returns?

id just go with pvc instead of clear for the reason of the algae's that will grow in the clear tube and will be hard to clear out. Pvc just easier and stays white

prefer hardpipe also.just make sure to use ball valves and unions if u ever want to replace or service pump
abs can be loud.pvc quieter
you should use correct glue for abs to pvc, homedepot sells it and its actually green glue and bonds properly

pm if u need any help
