Q's about Phosban reactor

Do i need a Phosban reactor if i am running a refugium with chaeto and live rocks?

Todd,
Check your phosphate. I have the test kit you can borrow if you want to drive all the way here.

My answer is that it might not harm to add phosphate reactor into your system. They are cheap to run and the reactor is not that expensive.

Todd fuge help in the maintenance of nitrate not much to do prostate errr phosphate.

What ever you are using in the fuge to comsume the nutrients (macro algae wise) will need po4 to grow so the fuge will help but not much. Adding a po4 reactor will aid in the removal of the phosphate. But be careful because if you remove to much the macro algae will not grow or die HTH.
