I asked them a while ago, they told me they qt most but in a shared system ; doesn’t seem reliable.

Yeah most LFS will run low amounts of copper in their systems but like you said, not a full QT.

the thing is they do that to hide any symptoms, so a little scandalous imo not sure if they do that on purpose though

you either gotta qt your own stuff or buy it qt'ed which will cost more. it probably should cost even more than it does, but i frequently find fish that are pretty affordable even qt'ed. i was going to get an indo regal angel qted for $190 + shipping which seems like a heck of a deal, but if you look hard you can find the fish cheaper than that, but then you gotta get it disease free and get it eating..

hybrid ttm is really pretty easy. if your dt is disease free you can just use that water from water changes as that's the main cost invovled. it is a bit more time consuming, though

i have been in the back, they do hold for observation but they do not qt. A qt would require no new fish being introduced to the same water for over 30 days

I understand what qt is. Well aware. I suggest you talk to them, as I said, this is from a manager and the owner.

I QT everything. Fish, coral inverts. I have several fish available that are QT'd now and several in QT. If you want one specifically i will acquire it for you and QT it. Then I deliver it to you.

I qt everything wet for 6 weeks at least. 6 weeks is the fallow time for velvet which is really the thing I’m wanting to avoid

acros if I can remove them from the plug I only do for like 2-3 weeks. Theoretically tomonts can’t attach to live coral, but nobody is sure what exactly that includes

You are one of few then, I feel like they would be able to attach to expose skeleton like on torches
