*Edit, just realized you meant the bubble algae not your corals, lol I almost freaked! just to be clear you said you were using algefix not Vibrant right? Using Vibrant I stuck with the recommended dosing and it seemed to make the bubble algae go clear and start to disappear fairly quickly. I did have to take my GFO offline as it seemed to strip too many nutrients out while using this.

Hey Sal, No Bryan used Reef Flux and I used Algae Fixx. I'm switching and I'm going to use Reef Flux starting this Friday as Bryans results were outstanding. I noticed some bubble algae get dislodged using Algae Fixx after 3 doses but also had a couple spots of cyano that popped up.

I was at Ocean Aquatics in San Bernardino and Ken recommended "Fritz algae clean out" to remove bubble algae, and low and behold i dont have a single polyp of bubble aglae in my tank! And i had an infestation. Thank Ken and Brian for the professional knowledge. It worked great is an understatement!!!

No side effects? It mentioned CAUTION: Not safe for use with freshwater snails, shrimp, clams and other crustaceans, or mollusks.
