quick interest survey: foxface/bristletooth

Planning out my 40L, and I want to add a small foxface and possibly tomini or yellow eye spot kole tang. Very small. I get all my fish from Dr. Reef (except original clowns that are 1.5yr with no signs of disease) and all but my two turbos (AquaSD) from ReefCleaners, so fairly sure of no ich/brook/velvet.

How easy will it be to sell the foxface and tang here once they outgrow the 40L? Would they go for somewhere near what I pay for them (~$120 and ~$150, respectively)?

I keep thinking about doing the same with a foxface. But I was just going to go trade it back in at the store for a smaller one and some fish food or something. ..knowing me though I will most likely upgrade tanks than give up a fish

Potentially with the right buyer aka someone willing to pay more for established fish.

I'm not totally fussed about feching the same premium price, just thinking I'd probably want to get another small foxface to replace the one that outgrows the tank.

I understand they are bar none for clearing out bubble algae, and I'm a bit tired of emerald crabs that do amazing work for a week then switch to robbing corals or (worse) eating coral.
